My favorite is probably the 3SX y-pipe... I don't really have any mods, lol.

Probably my stillen downpipe. It gave me the most noticeable power in my bpu setup along with a nice deep sound.

at the time i was all about the 'bang for the buck' value so i was just a stock 1st gen motor, 13T's, 550 inj, hotwired walbro, dejon blow through, MAFT / LS6 MAF, FMIC, open stock dp. i had lots of other misc. crap but those were my main mods. i tuned my car the best i could in my driveway (wasnt redg or insured at the time) for idle and WOT conditions but ill always remember ray laughing about how little tq my car made when he drove it around the parking lot to the dyno. i made 280awhp at 11psi on my first full run but after ray fixed a few issues that i didnt even know i had the car went to 418awhp and 408awtq @18 psi. the car had more left in it but i had no idea about the history of the motor so ray thought it would be good to just leave the car at 18psi.

i want to go back soon with my forged 8.5:1 short block, open ips 3" downpipe, apexi neo, HKS EVC, and cam gears. hopefully with the MAFT + Neo + HKS EVC ray can dial in the car at a higher psi. ive always had two goals. build a fun car on a very tight budget and also break Canenac's 13T record of ~470 awhp. if only they sold E85 out here lol.

oh yea i almost forgot, i DID install an IPS A/C delete kit before i got dyno tuned the first time. im not sure if deleting the A/C was the difference between high 3XX's and 418 awhp but im sure it prob helped out a little bit. i did it mostly to free up room under the hood though. its sooooo nice having more room under my VR4's hood than my NA RT's lol

    edit:

Hard to decide for me. When it was still in the car I loved the Quaife. I really need to get that back in. I love my coilovers. Best horsepower to dollar ratio mod was the test pipe.

I think the best mod for me right now would be the ability to park the Stealth and get a daily driver mod

turbo back exhaust and blitz DSBC-R boost controller were the two best mods Ive ever done. They are great for huge horsepower gains for little money on a stock/bpu VR-4

Palm + MMCd (and learning how to understand everything it was telling me) was the best

Can you post a link on where to find a DSBC-R? There are so many options that I have seen and want to make sure I know the right one.

    Thanks,

The downpipe makes a huge difference for a bolt on mod as long as you are catless/gutted cats. You will notice quicker spool and much better top end.

Solid mounts for me I'd say. I love the aggressive feel of everything being tightened up in the engine bay instead of bouncing around.

My meth kit is going in this week so I may have a different answer after that! Eric swears by it, making me even more anxious
