For as horrible as #2 was, and this trailer showing no substance of the movie, I won't be wasting any money at the box office.

Teaser Trailers are meant to tease you with out revealing much at all and sparking curiosity with ambition.

I watched the series as a kid and was a true fan, all the toys, all the comics plus the only 10 yo in the theater not with mommy crying to watch the original movie. What they missed the mark on majorly was the series was never about humans, the humans part of the story, but not the story.

90% of the first movie is some love story, and 80% of the second was some family drama.. the transformers in the movies were a joke. Steven Speilberg/Michael Bay could NEVER begin to understand this dynamic and thus gave us another shitty holywood movie with tits and explosions.

That movie was only good after they brought the SR71 back to life. Everything before that part of the movie was complete crap that seemed to not follow any kind of theatrical timeline...it almost seemed as if there were missing pieces to the movie. Even the geographical inacuracies didn't sit well with me. I'm sorry, but great visual effects mean nothing to me when the film is put together so poorly.

I gotta disagree with you guys. I could care less about the old transformers series, and I played with them and shit too as a kid. From a movie standpoint transformers 1 and 2 are some of the best movies I have ever watched and own both on BR. The sounds are amazing and so is the picture, and I felt the story lines were very good. Having Megan Fox to drool over was definitely not a down side IMO.
