3SX completely redeveloped the rear sway bar with Addco to create a well-fitted bar for the AWD 3S that actually uses the stock endlinks. New front bar as well.

It may be redesigned but the question still is will it destroy a carbon fiber Drive shaft on a lowered car

    im sure you'll it's fine

The the other question is will u replace the shaft if it does?

    With out the run around?

If you look at the pictures that were posted in various places, it was designed around a lowered car with aftermarket driveshaft.
    Particularly these: 3SX / Addco AWD Rear Sway Bar 2012 Fitting - 3SX Performance*-*Mitsubishi 3000GT*/*Dodge Stealth Parts
That being said, when installing various aftermarket components, you should always check for compatibility on YOUR specific vehicle and your specific parts.

We have about 40 rear bars out there with NO reported interference issues.

And unfortunately we can not offer a warranty on OTHER parts as we have no way of knowing what everyone is running, what the condition of the vehicle is - wore out bushings and struts that allow the rear end to move WAY more than it should, wore out motor mounts that allow the engine and drivetrain components to move WAY more than they should, accident damage that has vehicle components not even in their original positions, etc (not saying this is your car, but things to consider when installing multiple aftermarket components that may interact or work together). Nor can we know all driving conditions - say you bottom out a pothole and over-exceed normal tolerances on suspension and drivetrain travel. You can't blame EITHER part (driveshaft or swaybar) in something like this. These are all things to consider when installing aftermarket parts, whether spark plugs and pistons, or struts and springs, or swaybars and drivetrain.

I would like to officially say again, that is an incorrect statement.

rear bar also hits the rear axle mounting bolts and front bar also rubs the front axles. Whether or not the "4th revision redesigned" ones fit or not I dunno because I've never seen them after being told there wasn't a need for a redesign because they were test fitted before I bought my set.

Video, you can hear it knocking on most right turns and some lefts, especially on turn 2 after the drag strip:

You would be correct. We did re-do them with Addco August and Sept 2012, after a couple people ran into issues on hitting the undercarriage (perhaps yours was one, not sure). We received the new production run in October 2012 - the design that uses the stock endlinks - as indicated in the update note on the listing on our site. So yes, yours would be a different bar with a video at NG 2012, and we haven't heard of issues with shipments of the current style.

I call BS. I received one from the thanksgiving sale which was supposed to be the new design. upon installation it was clear the bar didnt fit at all, several of the bends were not even close which resulted in one side being to far from the endlink while the other was too close as well as hitting the body. I called 3SX and was told to go direct to Addco, with no offer for replacement of any kind. After sending pictures to Addco they said they would replace it, but that I would have to send it to them first as they didnt have any in stock. after months of waiting I finally received a sway bar, only to discover they sent the wrong one (sent a FWD rear bar instead of the AWD). called them again, and after a week+ of trying to get a hold of them they sent a call tag for the wrong bar and sent out the right one.

these are of the first bar sitting directly on top of the stock bar. I havent even taken the 2nd replacement out of the bubble wrap to try to install it.

installed, the whole bar needed to shift towards the drivers side but was unable to do so because the poor alignment of the center bends meant that it was off center of the car and hit the body. btw, this was with a completely stock suspension.

Sorry for your issues. But please check the new/unwrapped bar. The one you picture is actually not the current design. The current design is milled out around the bolt holes to work with factory endlinks:

So the one i received from you guys back in December was still the old design? That sounds like something you guys screwed up then as it should have been the new design. Btw, this current one also doesnt have the ends milled out around the bolt holes so it seems like i got another one of the old design direct from addco. Eric, should i just call you and we can figure out what happened and how to make it right?

The new design I received fits well so far. I say so far, as my engine/trans are still out of the car. Will know more in a couple weeks.

Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!
