When I was stationed in Pearl Harbor in '79, the first thing I did on Oahu was visit the Arizona Memorial. It was me, and a boatload of Japanese guys, cameras firing away. I was the whole time thinking WTF?
So the next morning is my first day of duty in Hawaii, I was in waits because my ship was out of port, so I was assigned as duty driver to a big shot. Turned out to be a Japanese admiral, his aid asks if I know where the Arizona Memorial was. I said "Yes, it's right where you f#@*ing left it."
That was good for 3 days bread and water.
To those of you who have also served or are serving, thank you for your service.

69? wow, any soldiers that still alive from that day?
Those, who stand for nothing, will fall for anything.
On the Internet you can be anything you want. It's strange that so many people choose to be stupid.

There are, but the numbers are dwindling quickly. The youngest alive are in their 80's now.
