It looked more vicious than it was. Punching shoulder pads doesn't do too much damage.

And that's exactly what Goodell is so vocal about, "the appearance", and that juvenile stunt made the NFL look like a bunch of street thugs. I figured a suspension would be in order. The fine isn't overly surprising, but I'm surprised they aren't riding pine for at least one game.

I mean look at what was levied against Roethlisberger, 4 game suspension...for the appearance of looking bad in public. Nothing proven, just allegations...yet he sat.

Goodell has basically said its better to fight, than it is to tackle someone. I mean, Harrison was fined $75,000 for tackling someone as part of the game, and these two idiots go outside the game and look like jackasses throwing punches and ripping their helmets off.

If thats not a double standard then I dont know what is.

So, does anyone else think that Jason Garrett sabotaged Wade Phillips?

I mean, when Phillips was still the HC this season the Cowboys only ran like 30% of the time. Last year no one ran more than they did.

Since Garrett has taken over they have ran 50% of the time.

I'm not a Cowboys fan, far from it, but Jason Garrett is a douchebag and I wouldn't put it past him.

Can someone explain to me how the hit on Miller by McClain was NOT flagged?

If that would have been Harrison hitting Heap, or Mason, or whoever you know damn well a flag would have been thrown.
