Go Lions. They truly are the best team under .500 right now. So many close games this year, I think they are truly improving and are going to be quite a force in the league next year.

Way to ruin GB and TB season.

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.” -- Author Unknown

the colts game had one of the wierdest 4th downs i've ever seen. actually, two of them. the first being the "misinterpreted" fair-catch. the cooler one though was the illegal block in the back resulting in the fair-catch being fumbled and recovered by indy.

i feel really bad for austin collie, and i wish him a speedy recovery with no long-term effects. that was one of the more brutal hits i've seen, and it was pretty clear to everyone that, while it was purely accidental, collie was out cold.

Same here. I feel bad for him, and that he fucked me over in fantasy football.

Hopefully he's alright come playoff time.

As bad as the Skins have been and all the drama surrounding them, you have to give them some credit for going out and beating a team fighting for the division title, in their stadium, with a back up QB and only 4 of 11 defensive starters still playing. They've had 10 games decided by 4 points or less and have beaten playoff contenders Green Bay, Philly, Jacksonville and Chicago. ESPN only wants to focus on the drama stories like Fat Albert and McSoup, but there's some real changes being made by Shannahan and the team will be better soon.

Looking at Chicago's record and stats.... do you guys think they are really as good as they are made out to be? They haven't really blown anyone out of the water, except Minnesota. I hope they lose next week to GB.

the Atlanta Falcons. the best team in the NFC and no one's talking about them at all. hell the only time they get mentioned is when anyone's talking about who they're playing and it's the typical, "yeah that Atlanta's a pretty good team". which is fine with me. ignore us and underestimate us and we'll walk out with the Lombardi while no one's looking.

they've got an excellent shot. i'm almost convinced that the NFC will take it this year, so atlanta has as good of a shot as anybody.

on a side note, indy seems to do well when they have to EARN their playoff shots.

we lock up home field tonight and it's about as good a chance as they'll ever get. 20-1 at home.
