Question Rob Beck 13T compressor inlet question?

I have two RB 13T's.while fitting the pre turbo piping, I had to remove the rubber reducer ring from the stock pre-turbo intake piping to get them to fit over the new compressor inlets. I noticed while looking at the 3sx pre turbo intake pipes that only the 19T's and DR750's are supposed to have the 2inch inlet. Is this something Rob changes on these? the compressor serial is 49377-04300 which is TD04L 13T/6, I didn't buy these direct from rob, so idk what all he does to them any help is appreciated thanks.
"The spacers are required for stock turbos, 3SX Eliminators and Executioners, 13g/13t, 15g, 16t, DR550, DR650, and other "stock housing" TD04 turbos.

The 19T and DR750 turbos have a modified compressor housing inlet with a 2-inch outer diameter, so the coupler will fit right on the turbo without the use of the spacers." this is direct from the 3sx site.

I have 13T's from Rob Beck himself and I had to take the spacers out. The TD04 13T's from a Subaru WRX, use the 2in inlet.

exactly, the 13T turbos are NOT stock housing. The inlet outside diameter is actually a little bigger than 19Ts IIRC.

Just a larger compressor housing. If you're worried about dust getting in there, do a couple of wraps of shrinkable electrical tape on there to seal it up nicely without folding. Of course this is assuming that yours are stretched like most I've seen

Even with the inserts removed my intakes were a swine to fit over the WRX compressor housings.

I'm going to bend some aluminum pipe and make a hard pipe kit, and it will allow me to get rid of the vacuum lines and it's a lot cheaper than the 3sx kit

Mine slide off and on just perfect like it was meant to be that way to begin with after the inserts are removed. I don't know why yours would be different.

You will have to take out the spaces.

Though I would recommend picking up some hard pipes from Dejon or something similar.

I can't tell you how many times my oem rear turbo intake pipe blew off. Annoying as heck, hard pipes solved that issue.

I always wondered that as well. But it never failed, every time I got on it hard I would blow off the rear one.
