Wow this truck has had a lot of issues. Have over 1,000 miles on it yet?

Curious, what is the ballpark total investment?

I don't want to tally it all up.

Only a few hundred miles, total since we bought it.

FINALLY out of the garage, and washed... been putting local miles on it today to make sure it's all good. Power steering pump blows asshole, I think it's bad (the new/reman'd one Hans installed), so, he's seeing if he can get a NEW one now. Otherwise, it drives OK.

Circa 2005... Oh my, how far I've come

    Fwah.

    Bet it's a big ballpark.

    Like fucking Polo Grounds big.
Ranked No. #1 in initial quality

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.

Don't ever do it, either, unless you wanna keel over dead.

I refuse to ask how much parts cost now, just how fast they can get here. I definitely do not want to know, because it will make me sick to my stomach.

The reman'd power steering pump can't keep up with the demands of the new steering box while the truck is sitting still. While driving... there are no problems. So, I'm looking at a PSC power steering pump. What's another $200 LOL.

I'm pretty sure I've sunk over $15k into this truck over the past year. I started bidding on wrecked ones so I can have a spare V10 to hang onto

Alignment went well. We're closing up here to take it on a drive and make sure it's all good. I want to try to slam 100-200 miles on it before I consider going 600 miles each way. That could be a large towing bill if something were to happen LOL.
