    Scanmaster+lc-1+palm

Does anybody have this logging set up? And how do you like it? I have the SM3, I want a wideband, and I want to be able to view full logs.

I have a SM3 and Palm M500, I am not quite sure what lc-1 is but I run the two for datalogging and I have a wideband but i rarely look at it, the SM3 is for live feedback of knock counts and the palm for storing at all times, audible alerts of knock counts so if I do a wide open throttle and if knock over 6 counts my palm will alarm me with out me having to take my eyes off the road, my car is so well tuned so that I do not have to worry about that though.
    vroom vroom i drive a 93 toyota mr2.

The lc-1 is just a wideband. I plan on plugging the wideband into the scanmaster so it shows real AFRs and knock counts. I'm getting tired of guessing my AFR with the NB02 on the SM3. How much did your Palm run you?

    I pieced mine together.

17 dollars for the palm m515 off ebay used this was a real good deal
15 for the y cable from 1glink.com this will charge it and datalog at the same time
5 dollars for the adapter RJ45->Serial
7 dollars for the usb 12v charger

How would you be able to plug your wideband into the scanmaster? Would be nice to show that instead of narrowband.

Just read the writeup. Seems very simple. Give the lc1 fuse power, wire the lc1 output to the sm3 input, ground the rest of the lc1 components, then calibrate the wb. Does that seem right?

Yep, pretty much. Just have to make sure the LC1 reading on the SM3 matches the reading on the laptop using the serial connection (ground offsets may cause a difference between the two values so you may have to scale it differently).

Alright cool. I just ordered one from the same person you got yours from. $143 shipped with sensor. Hopefully I'll have it installed by next Sunday.
