Welcome to 3SGTO's Car of the Month!

Each month will be themed with an all in, non 3/S or specific 3/S category. The categories are already picked out and planned through December 2011.

How to enter?
Create a garage page with your car, info, and pictures and then private message me that you want to enter and what your link to your garage is! You can find the garage link at the top of the forum next to "forum." For example: 3000GT / Stealth / GTO Forum - VB Pro Garage

Once all entries are in, a voting thread will be created so that everyone can vote on their favorite for that month!

What does the winner get?
The winner will be added to the 3SGTO home page as well as a forum banner There are also some other things to be added for the winner in the future.

When are the deadlines?
All entry deadlines will be the 1st of the month you are entering for and the voting thread will extend through the 7th of the month that is being voted on.

Can you clarify some of the monthly categories for us?

• ALL 3/S/GTO: As long as your car is a Mitsubishi 3000GT, Dodge Stealth, or Mitsubishi GTO, you can enter it for this category.
• FWD: Front Wheel Drivetrains only for this category.
• AWD: All Wheel Drivetrains only for this category.
• 1st Generation: Going with National Gathering rules of pop up headlights determine first generation
• 2nd Generation: Going with National Gathering rules of projector headlights determine second generation
• Non 3/S/GTO: All other makes or models, aside from 3/S/GTO's may enter this category.
• Spyders: Only 3/S/GTO Spyders can enter this category. This does include Stramans and other non factory convertibles.
• Cleanest Stock 3/S: If your 3/S/GTO is stock or nearly stock, you may enter this category. Nearly stock will be defined as minor/basic upgrades such as upgraded air filter and wheels are acceptable. If you would like to enter, but aren't sure if you as nearly stock, just send me a PM!
• Interior: If your 3/S/GTO has an awesome interior, you can enter your car for this category. This includes stock or modified.
• 500hp +: If your car is 500hp or more, you may enter your car for this category. Dyno numbers are required for submission. This includes 3/S/GTOs and other makes/models.
• ATX: the only requirement here is an automatic transmission and for your car to be a 3/S/GTO!
• Engine Bay: This category will be based on the best engine bay. You may submit stock or modified 3/S/GTO engine bays for this category.
• Greatest Transformation: This category is for those 3/S/GTOs that have made the greatest transformation while being owned by the same person. Before and after pictures of the work/your work must be included.
• 200k+ miles: You must have 200k+ miles on your 3/S/GTO to enter. A photo of your odometer will be required.
• Stealth: If your car is a Dodge Stealth, you may enter your car for this category. There are some people that have switched out body panels with an aftermarket company or a 3000GT, but this category is based on what your car's VIN states it is.
• 3000GT: If your car is a Mitsubishi 3000GT, you may enter your car for this category. There are some people that have switched out body panels with an aftermarket company or a Stealth, but this category is based on what your car's VIN states it is.
• Track Car: If you have built your 3/S/GTO to specifically race road course, autoX or drags, this category is for you. Images/slips from races/track time and your race set up will be necessary to enter this month.
• Sound System: If your 3/S/GTO has an amazing sound system, this category is for you.
• SOHC: All Single Overhead Cam 3/S/GTOs can enter this category!
• Custom Exterior: Anyone with a custom 3/S/GTO exterior can enter this category. This includes custom paint, body kits, wheels, hoods, etc that changes up the stock appearance of your 3/S/GTO off the line.
• Best Modified Intake: There are a lot of modified intakes out there, is your set up the best? Pictures required for this category.
• Female Owned 3/S/GTO: As long as you’re female and your car is a Mitsubishi 3000GT, Dodge Stealth, or Mitsubishi GTO, you can enter it for this category. *This is a “not your boyfriend’s car" type of category.
• Jack Stand Queen: We’ve all been there, your 3/S/GTO is in need of mechanical TLC. This category is for those that have been there just a little too long. While we don’t want to encourage the participants to keep their cars on jack stands, let’s at least remind them what they’re working for!!

I might have to keep an eye out for this catagory once my car is done...for the 4th time.

If I can get my intake plenum and valve covers sandblasted then I would be able to enter all stock category.
