    Soarer for a Stealth!?

I've been doing a lot of thinking over the past little while, and well... I want to trade my Soarer for another Twin Turbo Stealth. I really don't care what year, as long as it's in good condition... Hell, it doesn't even have to be running right now, so long as it's nothing mechanically critical wrong with it. I'm just looking for some opinions of what condition, year, etc I'd be able to milk out of the Soarer. Thanks in advance for your input guys.

Here's some pictures and information to give you an idea of my car.

    1JZ-GTE
About the middle of the mod-scale
    176,000km
    Auto (shift kit)
    Loads of recent work.

Whats with the night pics? Does it look that good in the daytime? If so, I'd say you might be nuts.

Why don't you like the Soarer?

It does yes, I had one of my photographer friends come shoot the car a while ago, and he edited them with a little more contrast. I just want another 3/S It's not that I don't like it, it's just not really for me. I like a manual trans a lot more, and a sporty looking car, it's just too luxury looking imo. Also... I know nothing of them in terms of tuning and I hate working on it with a passion.

I'm not a fan of the Soarer but a RWD 1JZ-GTE would be fun to drive I would think. It's rather heavy but then so is a 3S. I say keep the Soarer unless you find a very clean Stealth.

Don't get me wrong, I'm in no hurry to be rid of it I'm just not all to savvy on them so I wasn't sure what condion Stealth I could fetch for it.

I'm talking to the owner of this one right now, he seems like he may be fairly interested. What do you guys think. Obviously, I'd be replacing the whale tail on it if I can work something out with him.

Too many kms IMO. Also too expensive for something with that many kms. I would expect to pay close to that [prob around $12k] for that in Australia where they are rare. In the states & Canada where there are heaps of them you shouldn't have to pay that much. How much does a soarer sell for over there?

They usually sell for around the same price as a Stealth. Given the condition of mine, and the high mileage and the condition of his, a straight across trade would be in his favor in the end. But where I live selling cars like mine is unheard of "truck country". When I first put the Soarer up for sale just after I had gotten it running I had an 18 year old kid offer me a beat up 1994 Honda Civic and a 42" Quattron TV. People here just don't get the value of cars like mine. I love Stealths with a freakish passion, so I could take a fall to have one that I can actually drive again without coming out of the deal like a dirty rag lol.

Thats one clean looking soarer man. Very nice. I sure as heck wouldn't trade that for a stealth that isn't running lol. Nor would I trade it for that blue TT. Wait it out for a TT thats alot cleaner and with lower km's.

I would like to, I've sent out some emails to some people over on your side of the line, hopefully something comes up. There's a super nice red 92 with 115,000km in Medicine Hat that caught my eye right away, I'm hoping to hear back from him soon.
