    How do you play GT5?

So I finally got my copy last night but worked a closing shift then an open today so tonight was my first chance to give it a go.

Personally I have started by doing the licenses and going for gold, B & A are complete. Then just go through doing the sections I can use current cars with and winning new ones and only buy cars I need to get into other events or a car that is really awesome.

So do you guys care about that or just buy a car and hit the races as quick as possible?

I've only had one glitch, the game froze during a menu and I had to just start it over(didn't lose anything so it wasn't a big deal)

So far the Evo has been my favorite car to drive(again I've only done the first 2 licenses)

Got A and B licenses, won the first few racing series I could enter with the Toyota MR-S I bought. Modded it to about 220 hp, was able to win more money, think I got to about lv 5 or 6 and then started doing the special events, you get a TON of experience from those. I am lv 19 now and have 800k credits (just spent 200k on an ACR viper and mods)

I was able to win a lot of races once I got the 76 512 ferarri.

I had it freeze once while loading a race, the 12 drivers just kept scrolling across the top, the course never loaded.

Full gold is damn hard to do I swear. I was trying to get at least silver until I got to the International A license...then it was whatever. I just can't seem to finish the 10th trial there. It's so damn hard to finish a race without bumping or hitting something at least once especially when you are racing against 11 other cars at the same time.

After getting through the IC license I had to race so I went and did a few special events, (getting gold of course) and then started in the entry level Aspec races.

So what the hell is the point of the Car delivery truck?? I'm confused why its even there. Just put the car in my garage damn it.

Thank you! They've done this on prior games as well. While it's not that big of deal, it is annoying.

I've gotten through the IB class now, but still have about 4 more that are not gold right now. I'm only at like level 14 at the moment.

I'm using a wheel, but don't have a good way to use it at the moment so I get really uncomfortable sitting there with the end table that I have it mounted to.

Going to talk the wife into letting me use a spare parts seat and building something. The other annoying thing that I hate(and it's been the same on previous versions) is when you finish a race it goes to the replay screen. I RARELY use that, go back to the menu and put the replay info there for your last race or something. Such a waste of time.

I got my iA class tonight and am trying to level up to 15 so I can start on the final S license. Be prepared to want to throw your controller for iA-10...talk about a bitch and a half. I think I did it for 2 and a half hours before I was lucky enough to land myself a bronze 7th place finish.

P.S. - screw that little VW van in all of it's 40hp badness! God I swear after running 650 hp 3000gts in the game it is just damn frustrating to try to drive that thing lol

I hated it too, until I went to the Lotus and every turn the damn rear end kicked out, or I slide into another car.

My biggest gripe is I'll not run into another car but they will damn sure run into me..

Also that super car festival... nothing like a 650hp 3/S taking down a veyron
