starting issue, need advice...

I posted this on the other site but got no help so trying here.

Posting this for a friend who "still" hasn't made an account yet.
The car is a 92 RT, NA.
Turns over but doesn't start, no fuel, no spark, MFI relay clicks when car is turned on. Fuel pump runs if hot wired directly. Car had "obvious" ecu damage (read as looks like someone took it apart and drove a truck over it) replaced ecu with one bought from ebay with no change. sent that ecu to avpro who sent another one in exchange. No change in symptoms. PTU checks as OK according to the repair manual. I'm bringing him a good CAS to swap his with this weekend.

Any advice on other things he should be checking? The car didn't run when he got it, supposedly it just had a head job due to a snapped timing belt was put back together, it didn't/wouldn't run, and then sat for a year or so before he bought it.

I would say check timing first of course, then check compression. Post up your results.

If that checks out, I would lean towards the CAS as well.

i'd say its a combination of problems... ECU being one of them.

Check if the timing marks all line up and check the voltage to the CAS.
