    Looking for PS Pump

Hey guys, as the title suggests i'm in need of a good working PS pump for a reasonable price. If anyone here has a spare one or any suggestions where to look (magna?) I would appreciate it.

I was quoted AU$1000+ for a factory pump (JDM) from Amayama Trading Co. I nearly fell of my chair after reading it twice...

Send me your vin and i'll tell you your part number. So far ASA has told me 5 different part numbers. But so far it only says for GTO.

That is the correct part number. From what I can tell this is the same [or similar] from 92 onwards. The 92 part number is MB892910 whcih was replaced by MR272492. I had it in my head you needed a steering rack for some reason. Which is how I ended up with so many different part numbers. So any PS pump from 92 onwards will do

    Thumbs up

Yeah thanks Joe. IIRC I think there were very minor differences between the earlier and newer pumps, also the pulley would be different to suit a v-belt on the 90/91(?).

Damn things are hard to come by (new) and are overpriced, maybe i'll see if those rebuild kits are still around...

Yeah early ones have a different pully. Have you tried GZP? shipping from the state might be high but they should have it cheap.

Plenty of used ones for sale on US eBay, as low as US$15, not sure about new ones though
