    RIP -- Sanjay

Just posted by Jackie (GTOGIRL3000) on the other site:

I'm deeply saddened to be writing this post.
I just received a phone call from one of his family members, he passed away last night from a heart attack.

If you knew Sanjay, you'd remember him by his smiling face and great sense of humor....he was such a stand-up guy. He was such a wonderful person to have in our lives and our community.
Sanjay was one of the first people I met in the 3S community, I met him at the first 3/S National Gathering in 2002 and we became very close friends from that day forward. He drove a 1994 Black 3000GT VR-4, and still owned it to this very day.

Funeral arrangements are in progress, I will keep this thread updated when I hear back from his family.

    Sad news indeed.

I'm at a loss for words.

I have not seen him in years and have missed him at the last few NG's. My condolences to his family.

Please pass along word of any services or memorials.

    I'm in SHOCK.

Like the others who have posted here, I met Sanjay at one of the first NG's and made an immediate connection with him (up until then, we only spoke in chat, where he "affectionately" called me ODB [Old Dirty Bob]). At a later NG, my son Zachary met him and to this day still talks about how much fun he was to be around.

It is with a VERY heavy heart that I say Rest in Peace my friend, Rest in Peace....

    Bob.
