I'm not a business guru or anything, but if I were you, I would list what's available to you and how much you can sell it for. As many 3S products as you can. I too, have looked through your site many times and not found what I needed. Didn't think for one second to email you about it. I just checked 3sx, IPS, eBay, or wherever and found what I needed there. If I had seen it on your site...well you get the idea. Just trying to give you the mindset I'm sure a lot of your potential customers have.

    (my submission also mentioned selection)

Completely agree with you. It's stupid to think that someone is going to e-mail me every time they don't see something they're looking for on the site. It's very time consuming to to add products and automated systems are pricey. I just need to put the time into getting those new products on there and that for sure is on my list of things to get done.

I think this just about sums it up. Feedback submitted.

Is your website custom built or are you using some type of shopping cart software?

I know the shopping cart software I use makes it really easy to add new products and track all of your inventory, shipping and outstanding orders. PM me sometime if you want more info as I deal with this type of software for a living.

    Check it out on Youtube!!

It's based from shopping cart software so there's a decent interface to add products, nothing automated though. In an extreme example when you have 100+ autometer gauges to add it takes some time, especially when looking up descriptions and photos. No real excuse though, I just need to put more time into that part. If you have any way to make that better though I'm up for it....let me know.

When we have to mass add things to a shopping cart we usually do it directly though the database. We compile everything into an excel spreadsheet, Concatenate the results to build a giant SQL query and run it on the DB. But again getting all the information together is what takes the longest part

Yeah, they've got a bulk import tool right in the software but like you said, it's pulling all that info together.

Beat up on my suppliers some and was able to secure some pretty good discounts that should put me in a better place to be competitive with everyone else out there. Also picked up a few new lines that I didn't have before.

Keep checking the site as the products and prices are going to be changing daily until I get everything updated/added.

Terry, it's too bad you couldn't pick up the mark where IPS dropped the ball on their badass exhaust systems... what a demand for a product no one can get.
