Do I need to post a picture of me executing a su command on my iPhone? The reason there aren't so many bricked iPhones is because of something called Mobile Substrate. Google a little more. I can completely demolish the file system through SSH if I wanted to with su on my iPhone, and the MAIN reason it cannot be bricked is because of the hardware failsafes. Also, MOST of the modifications done to the iPhone can be reversed outside of recovery mode because of Mobile Substrate.



The iPhone is based off of a unix kernal, just like the linux kernal is. Do I need to post a screen shot of my kernal?

I know its based on a Unix Kernel because tis what OSX is based on.



Edit: Okay I know what Mobile Substrate is, but tell me, why dont they have something like this on the Android platform?
