their are so many scams out there, i get txt msgs to my fone from carsales readers that dnt come up with a number only letters like a weird word or some shit and then they want me to reply to there email and in their email instead of an "@" symbol its a either a lower case "J" with no hook or an extended "i" its weird, but ive had about 4 of them to date, i also tried to get scammed when trying to by a dog, come prick from cameroon wanted me to pay admin fee's. fuck that shit. and a guy asked me how much i was selling a hyundai excel for on carsales and he wanted to buy it so i said 15k and he's like yeh cool deal, lets use paypal...blah blah blahh similar to the above story... went on to him needing me to pay for transport admin fee of only 399$ .... yeah right pal

Yeah, scamming is like a lucrative business now. There are thousands of scammers around the world, notably west africa, who are always sending out millions of scam emails everyday. These scams range from lottery winnings to asking you to transfer millions of dollars from a rich dead man's secret account etc... some of these scams are quite creative and unfortunately some people fall for it.

Alvyn thanks for the heads up man...i was soo close to giving him my real paypal account. Your idea worked perfect, i sent him my yahoo email address and told him that was my paypal account. And as you said i got an email from "paypal" saying they sent me 19100 whn i was only asking for 18 lol. My payapl wasnt even with yahoo

I am ready to buy the car now for birthday gift for brother in-law and i am at sea at the moment as i am a marine engineer and due to the nature of my work, phone calls making and visiting of website are restricted but i squeezed out time to check this advert and send you an email regarding the car. I really want it to be a surprise for my brother in-law so i wont let him know anything about it until it gets delivered to him, i am sure he will be more than happy with the car. I insisted on paypal because i don't have access to my bank account online as i don't have internet banking, but i can pay from my paypal account, as i have my bank a/c attached to it, i will need you to give me your paypal email address and the price so i can make the payments asap for it and pls if you don't have paypal account yet, it is very easy to set up, go to www.paypal.com.au and get it set up, after you have set it up i will only need the e-mail address you use for registration with paypal so as to put the money through. I have a pick up agent that will come and pick the car up after i have made the payments...
