Thumbs up Last drive for 2010

2010 ends with 99,003 miles on the odometer. Went for a drive after swapping clamps on the IC pipes and could only run 10psi or so. Re-tightened all of the clamps and took the last drive for the year given the weather that is on the way Ran 18psi and have temps around 190 after sealing improvements between fmic and radiator. 18psi feels awesome in second gear (or any gear really), just wish the front rotors weren't so warped and all of the deer at night are a little hard on the nerves.

Have several items on the list for winter. EBC, suspension work, replace clutch booster, meth maybe and ignition amp come to mind. Oh yeah and BRAKES. Front rotors are really getting warped after several 3rd gear pulls I also need to insulate the WB near the exhaust since I melted through the insulation Any recommendations?

Can't wait for winter to pass so I can get some dyno numbers on the 16t's and of course hit the track!!!

Time to get ready for ice fishing and dream of boost......

I'm so glad we don't have that problem in SoCal! Can't beat year round driving!
Hey, when you turn your car on, does it return the favor?

You don't know how lucky you are! I couldn't help myself and drove it to work today, but she goes home to the garage at lunch--supposed to snow this afternoon

Just need a couple more WOT runs while I can!

I know how you feel. I washed both my cars and covered them up for the winter. I can't wait for spring already.

One amazing thing about these cars [AWD] a lot of folks are unaware of is how well they handle in deep [6"+] snow. When everyone else is sliding all over the place these cars just keep on going. One winter in Michigan none of the neighbors could get out of the cul-de sac we lived on because we got over a foot of snow and the road would not be plowed for several days. I just started up the Stealth, backed out of the garage and onto the road and drove up and down the street several times so everyone else could get in and out. No slipping or sliding at all. The neighbors were absolutely amazed. They had no idea it was even AWD. Just for fun I got on it and it was the first time I ever spun all 4 wheels but you loose total control of the car when you do that.

P.S. There was no salt on the road either. Cleaned it up and back in the garage.

I drove mine in the snow once this spring and it was crazy good, It was before the shithead kid I bought it from blew it up and left it at the auto shop. Had a lot of fun and got a tonne of WTF looks from people. I think it was near 14" deep when I took it out too I wouldn't have done it if it were my car at the time, but I needed to test drive before buying it It's all about the wrap up in the winter months now though

Edit: I might add though... There was also a nice snow pack in all the air dams

Way back when this car was a DD all year here in Wisconsin, but no more. Dusting people from lights on snowy roads is always fun!!! A DSM is WAY more fun in the snow however with shorter wheelbase and less weight. If I had another garage spot I'd snag the stealth a friend made me aware of as a winter beater like Bob in Ohio, but that's just going to have to wait.......
