a customer of ours had well over 200k on his modified 95 VR4. Last time he was here though, I believe he blew it up on the dyno. He drove the daylights off that thing, no idea if it was all original or not.

It's nearly impossible for most current owners to vouch for the originality of the mechanical components in their cars, because 99% of them are not the original owners with no idea of service history.

    Just sayin'

Thankfully I am 3rd owner, whilst the 2nd owner only owned it for about a month. The 1st owner was a female, and she had taken to the dealer for every bit of work, and I can still go pull my cars service history. Which I have and got it printed out to keep with the car for future references. Although, like I said, after 3 engines, 2 transmissions, and 2 transfer cases, I don't think any of their work hasn't been touched.

Not modified in any way, it's 100% stock, but my 94 RT/TT has 246k on the original motor and trans.

On the Internet you can be anything you want. It's strange that so many people choose to be stupid.

230k on the chassis, still very tight (struts, springs and sways are relatively new) and drives great. The motor however came from a vr4 clip with 41k on the clock. That was maybe 20k ago...
