The label "conspiracy theory" is commonly used to try to discredit criticism of the powerful in government or business. The truth is the government spied on American citizens, while saying "we don't spy". The government tortured prisoners in Iraq, but said "we don't torture". In other words, high-level government officials have conspired to cover up the truth...by collective lying.
Once you are lied to, you have a hard time believing the truth.

Ok so if jets are spraying aluminum then who is cleaning the aluminum out of the turbine sections to keep the engines running? How are massive amounts of aluminum being added to the jet fuel without anyone in the industry finding out? Who is paying the bill for all that aluminum? You have mechanics pilots inspectors all would have to be in on the conspiracy working to the same ends to poison the population. No way could this happen on any scale without leaving taces of its occurance thoughout the airline industry. Everyone in the industry would have to be in on it for it to be happening on any scale. So many problems with this idea even if you wanted to do it. Fuel pumps would not even work with all that aluminum in the fuel.

Just the logistics of it should be enough to tell you it is not true.

I have often heard the labels "hoax" and "scam" used many times when discussing CTs. At most these are misconceptions. While it may be a purview of individuals to term something a "hoax" at will, a branch of the government is considered more bound by legitimate definition in its actions, so that, for them to term something a "hoax" is automatically to have it characterized according to the definition of the term. Moreover, it indicates that sufficient examination has been carried out to back that characterization. A "hoax" is far more than a misconception; it is a willful and malicious act of mayhem, usually for the aggrandizement of the "perpetrator".

The US Government, then, officially accuses all the honest, straightforward citizens genuinely concerned about the truth, as malingerers and frauds.

Why would anyone accept on face value that which a government professes to be truth, when historically that government has lied over and over again?

Why don't someone just get a telescope with autotracking and record some of these planes spraying mechanisms...
