Vitamin C is good for you, but 20x the daily dosage is not necessary. Best case scenario, your body dumps the 19x it doesn't need. Worst case scenario, it accumulates and causes you harm by depleting other nutrients, or stressing your body. For most vitamins it is the former, but overdosing on some can cause serious problems.

I had a vitamin B complex that has 30x the daily riboflavin (B2), every time I took a tablet, I'd spent the next day urinating bright fluorescent (highlighter) yellow pee. It was the uber-excess of riboflavin, there was so much of it, it was turning my pee a different color. At best, all it was doing was overworking my kidneys.

The argument you put forth is akin to saying, "water is good for you, no reason not to drink 20 gallons a day". Vitamins were very usefull, even necessary 100 years ago when diets were so limited people died of preventable disease (scurvy, rickets, etc.), but today your diet should suffice. If it makes you feel better, take a "100% of each" multivitamin. But 5000% of a specific vitamin is totally unnecessary and could harm you.

But, the vitamin supplement industry and those who produce synthetic items are one and the same. You don't think the vitamin C in your supplement came from oranges that went through some overly long organic refining process do you!?!

I have almost no faith in people at all. I bet Monsanto or BP would be totally fine knowingly contributing to the deaths of a few random innocent people if they were spared any and all reprisal (and law suits). But a conspiracy involving different parties is very unlikely. Especially one where there is no tangible benefit. Paying off a few doctors to get a drug passed FDA approval without all the appropriate tests so that a pharmaceutical company can make an extra 20 billion is quite plausible, but a global conspiracy involving thousands of people, to spray random sh-t from commercial airplanes for some undefined increase in "control" is nonsense.

It doesnt have to be a global conspiracy. It doesnt have to be a conspiracy at all, could be just the government.. Whether or not they are trying to control us, I dont think you can deny that they are doing this without our permission or knowledge. It is probably more likely to try and save the planet..

I totally disagree. It is common sense, that the more people involved in a plot, the less secure the secret is. It only takes one guy to spill the beans and ruin everything.

Even if one guy does spill the beans, people do not believe him right away if at all. They are quite good at covering/stopping people like this .

Like I said before, I dont think it is one big conspiracy. Ill elaborate a bit: I feel that its many small ones and a bunch of cover ups that just seems to make up our government. They just dont like to tell us the truth. They seem to like to distract us also. And keep secrets and hidden agendas.

No idea. But my guess is that most of them are. It is much easier to synthesize simple vitamins than distill them from an organic source.

The chemtrail conspiracy would require at the very least that multiple branches and organizations within the US, Canadian and British governments to be involved. Then you'd have the issue of the Russians and Chinese. Anything we do on such a massive scale will affect them also. I don't believe the major powers have every unanimously agreed on anything - no way they'd all go along with some covert plot to seed the atmosphere with junk.

No doubt. Congressmen will do a lot of things for their own benefit. I wouldn't put it past them to do something that they know is not in our best interests for a few campaign contributions (ie: kill net neutrality), but I don't believe that they'd do something that truly grievously harms America. It is one thing to put a company's interests first if there is no obvious harm, or it just inconveniences or even harms a few downtrodden people, it is another to directly have a hand in poisoning the entire country.

I don't think there is any chance of this. Again, nothing they have could possibly be useful to us. Even if we gave a caveman the most primitive integrated circuit we have, and spent the time trying to explain it, it would be beyond his grasp without an entire education in physics.

Very likely a project (probably canceled), for a next generation stealthy spy plane. Nellis AFB was testing the F-117 and B-2 years before they were declassified. It is not hard to believe that they were testing a still classified spy plane. In fact, they better have, because if not, that means nothing new is in the pipeline, and our rivals will be catching up.

Hypersonic travel is not science fiction, nor does it require alien technology. This f-cker almost reached Mach 10 without rocket engines!:

Any spyplane built on such technology would be nearly twice as fast as the fastest surface to air missile available today. If we have such a thing, we should keep it a secret as long as possible, because as soon as the Russians and Chinese confirm that we have it, they'll rush to deploy faster SA missiles.

Since satellites are nearly impossible to detect and knock out, all the major powers have shied away from spy planes since the 1980s. My guess is that the Aurora was a secret hypersonic SR71 replacement that got canceled due to budget concerns. I suspect that the X-43 technology will never be made into a manned spyplane, but rather be used for next generation missile and possibly drones.

I can only think of three reasons for an alien culture to ever engage us: 1. To study us scientifically. 2. To destroy for some reason (as a means of protecting themselves from future competition maybe). 3. To befriend us, teach us and/or trade us cultural and (non-technical) knowledge. None of these scenarios lend themselves to secret government deals.

Good points, but they DO lend themselves to a secret government dealing. If we were to find a primitive culture, we'd study it, and try to identify its leadership, so as to not cause a widespread panic and to gain further information about how the hierarchy works. Think about when Cortez encountered the Aztecs and was considered a god, then he captured and killed Montezuma to usurp power.

An alien civilization would certainly know that their presence would cause panic by many in the general populace. It would not surprise me at all if they directly sought out people in the highest levels of government to make their presence known, while keeping the rest of us in the dark.

Destroying us could very well also be a plan hatched by talking to our government first, as in the Day the Earth Stood Still. Perhaps giving them an ultimatum, or instructions designed to make a takeover easier for them, or simply wiping us out completely.

As far as the last point goes... I guess the cynic in me just would never allow that to be a possibility. All throughout our human history, a stronger civilization has always sought to take advantage of a weaker one. Sometimes, it is under a guise of friendship, sure. But as any native american who traded acres of land for a handful of beads will tell you, one side is definitely getting screwed.
