    Challenger SRT392

The facts are this, it appears that bad boy is running 12.4 @ 110 out of the box. That's GT500 territory from a 4100lb. car.

Perhaps Mopar is back to the days of old and under rating the shit out of their engines? Not that they haven't always been the most conservative with their power ratings, much more so than Ford and especially GM.

All I can say is, wow.

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.” -- Author Unknown

Ha that's what everyone said about our cars in the 90's. My 6.1L jeep srt-8 is already a beast. I can not wait to trade it in on a 2012 with 6.4L, 8-speed, MDS, air-ride and with a diablo tune the HP/TQ should both easily be over 500. Now that's a fun DD with full warranty

Yes, the newest Challenger SRT is going to be epic. It's really cool to see these things back on the road & with some impressive power numbers...It would have been pretty cool to have been around back when the originals were out roaming the streets, but I'll settle for these new school muscle machines!

Much to my wife's disappointment, I'm in line for one. I'm extremly curious how much better it is than my 09 srt, especially in the low end range.

Nice to see Dodge really getting back to their roots.

That thing traps 3 mph over my old stock 400hp 05 GTO at 3800lbs. I am not that impressed. If you want a quicker car for the money, the 5.0 Mustang is the hot ticket, and handles better. They need to stop making whales that get 10mpg under normal driving. I like the body but the interior should be nicer then most luxury cars for that price and it looks kind of cheap. However, I got to say that if at 3600lbs the mustang traps 111, at 412hp, then this is making about 460hp, so yah, if its rated at less then that, its under-rated.
