Description: Shopping around for an Evo X for practicality reasons, not in any rush to sell. Still love the car, and drive it nearly every day (don't expect the miles to stay where they are). I still owe the bank money (financing an older used car is stupid, don't do it), so I don't have the title in hand. Title is at my local bank, so I can get it within a day or so (their claim, not mine) if you deposit what I still owe at the time of purchase. I can take cash, cashiers checks, or a personal check if you're willing to wait for the check to clear.

This car is extremely reliable, and it has never needed major repairs, just preventative maintenance. 120K was completed before I purchased the car with OEM parts at a dealer. I'd trust this car to drive across the country as much as I trust it to start every time to take me to work.

I will include any specialty tools for the car (RB Pressure Tester, Broomfield T-Belt Tensioner Tool, Logger, etc.) so you'll be ready to roll.

Good:
UNDENTED OIL PAN
Factory maintenance recommendations followed (using Castrol GTX 10w-30, Redline MTL/MT90 for the trans, MT90 for the t-case)
Leak free transfer case, thanks to Mitsubishi
New power steering rack (1.5 years warranty left or so)
Almost all of the useless features still work, active aero works, all wheel steering works, ECS works, active exhaust doesn't.
Relatively new clutch (replaced right before I bought it, so it has 18k)
Transmission shifts as smooth as butter
Hybrid ECU logger cable and software will be included ($150 value, will throw palm pilot in for an extra $50)
New Valve Stem Seals, Cam seals, valve cover gaskets, lifters, and oil pan dent removal/inspection work done by Pampena Motorsports
New timing belt tensioner (old one was damaged)
Braided SS lines for the oil cooler
Brand new front ball joints
New Transmission linkage
No collision damage that I'm aware of
Interior is nearly perfect, driver's side seat is worn on the upper bolster. Everything else is 9/10 on the interior
Dunlop Star Specs, not many miles, low tread wear. One tire was replaced because of a nail, and shaved 1/32" to match to ensure that there were no issues with the VCU
Current PA inspection, passes emissions and safety inspections with flying colors.
New Accel spark plug wires, with factory style boots to seal crud out of the spark plug holes
New NGK plugs
New Carrier Bearings
New Lower Control Arm Bushings
New Mitsu Radiator Cap
New '99 Lifters
No turbo shaft play
Aftermarket sound system (Eclipse CD-2000 HU, Polk Audio component speakers)
Un-Bubbled door panels
No body rust (besides some surface rust on the frame rails)
New PCV valve and hoses (thanks Keyan!)
New alignment, car tracks straight and doesn't have any odd tread wear.

Mods:
3SX y-pipe w/ silicone couple & t-bolt clamps (easily holds 20+psi)
New Carbotech unslotted front rotors (good condition stockers that need cut can be included)
IPS downpipe (ripped the stock DP in half, had to replace)
modified eBay header (rewelded and tweaked to fit, still too close to the rubber IC hose, so it needs wrapped)
Hot wired factory fuel pump
Hawk HPS pads all around
DDM 35W 4500k HIDs w/ high beam (clear lens) mod
Accel 8mm spark plug wires
JDM injector cover from a 3.5L

Bad:
Shocks have 152k on them, not blown, but soft
Very minor leak from rear main seal or trans. No drips as of late, it's just slimy inside the bellhousing.
Puffs of oil if you leave it idle for a long time
A/C didn't work on really hot days.
Active exhaust valve is stuck in "sport" The less restrictive mode.
Assorted door dings, and rock chips. PDR should be able to take car of the door dings, and I'll probably have it done soon.
Right side wheels are very slightly bent, no vibration, and it can be aligned and what-not.
ABS doesn't work, one or more of the sensors needs cleaned, but I didn't want to risk damaging them. The light burnt out a while back, so I pulled the bulb and didn't replace it.
Rear interior panels are bubbled in the heat of summer.
