Its all in your head. You want it to work and make a difference; so whenever you strapped it down on the "butt dyno" you claim, and truely believe that it works. When in reality you might have gained a minute amount of horsepower, which is most likely identical to the amount of hp gained from taking off the stock airbox you have and replacing it with an aftermarket air filter. Much simpler IMO.

So, your saying that it's better to just have a pod in the engine bay than bother to route some air in through the front air damn?

what does the stock computer adjust based on the IAT sensor ? at what temperatures does it make adjustments?

No, I'm aware that it's very small. I don't feel much difference, but there is a difference compared to the OEM intake box, and I'm not even using a drop in K&N filter yet. I'm not sure how much better it is (if any) than the open element filter, since it has been a while since I have used one.

There are good cars that get you from point A to point B, and then there are great cars, that get you into trouble.

Someone could secretly remove your "cai" and you would never notice the difference. You want there to be a difference, so again you think you feel one. You cannot feel 1-2crank horsepower. You didn't even gain a full horsepower at the wheels and that is IMPOSSIBLE to notice.

You won't feel the difference of the K&N FIPK (Rip off) ether. The only thing it will do is allow you to hear it sucking in air at low rpm's. Virtually no performance gains.
