    2005 Musatang Saleen ....lol

    Ok, well I am a used car amnager at my Ford store in Colorado. I had a guy come in tonight with a 2005 Saleen Mustang with a procharger on it with 515whp tuned. He wanted to see what we'd give him for it so I agrees to look it over. Already knew the procharger wasnt factory, (they have the roots twin screw) and he said it was installed by ford. Said it was a really fast car. Well, I appraise a shit ton of fast cars and measure all of them against my vr4. Well, Im pushing over 500awhp now that i have my 19t's tuned and new stage 4 unsprung clutch installed and doesnt slp anymore. Needless to say my car scares the fukin shit outta me. (my 880cc injectors will be going in and running e85 by spring).

    Well, I pull out (he's with me) and I was just going to take it down the main hwy and not get on it much, then he says stomp on it. So i was like ok, (clutch btw feels like nothing compared to mine) and I get on it and here the SP spool up and im waiting for it to throw me in my seat....WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! Got to a light, 1st....eh....2nd....ehhhh...3rd...you get the point. I was very dissapointed and told he guys that my vr4 would DESTROY the saleen. I have a shit load done to my car and there isnt too many that will beat me in my little town, but I am dissapointed. The Shelby GT500's with the 550 hp SP feels real good and powerful. not sure if I just wasnt in it long enoughfor the 12psi boost to build? Though superchargers were instant boost no lag due to running off the crank. 20% engine loss to a 46% power gain = 26% gain overall. Didnt feel it.

    anyways just thougth ti was cool to drive one since we dont see any and just wasnt very impressed.

    I drove an 06 Z06 Vette with a supercharge slapped on it and I was dissapointed in that as well, before I tore my stealth down it was pushing 527awhp and I knew instantly that my car would destroy it... Maybe these "new" cars just don't respond to boost as well as ours

    Prochargers are centrifugal, which means they will have lag. They dont make full boost till up top. They are the worst of all forced induction mechanisms.

    ive driven a G 37 with GTM twin turbo kit putting 486 to the tire, and a 2010 Camaro with a Prochager with 478 to the tire, on the street the Infinity would kit the shit out of that GM.

    99% of these bolt on S/C kits have flash tuners with them. Most of them are not even close to maximizing the true potential of the parts they are supposed to be tuning.

    True that. And we all know what happens when we force air into a stock engine with it 10+ compression ratio, so they're srtuck running minimal boost... BOO!

    I think they're better off with a 3/S
