As long as they fixed the server problem, and it stays fixed. What is the big deal?

It's the principal. What if I load this on a gaming laptop to take with me somewhere while I'm bored? Too bad, can't play it. I don't like game makers dictating when and how I am allowed to play something I bought and paid for. Even Steam which is entirely web-based allows you to play games while offline. Hackers broke the DRM on the previous game about 2 weeks after release, which shows that the only people this hurts is those that pay for it. The company won't listen to me when I write them telling this is a bad decision, so I will tell them in a way they WILL listen - with my refusal to purchase their products.
