I sold a set of those 1st gen bush's not long ago for $10 brand new! they are TR TS magna 4cyl front bushings. V6 magna use the 60mm shelled type like in your 2nd pic.
2nd gen design is much better IMO
Why do you feel the 2nd gen design is better? I'm curious, as I can't seem to get mine as tight as the 1st gens, which practically LOCKS the arm in place. I think mitsu just updated the design to lower the costs of producing them.
After swapping in a complete set of new OEM 2nd gen bushings AND brackets (as there is a bushing in the bracket too), I still had some sliiiight caster movement when going at it with a prybar. With new 1st gen bushings it was rock solid. Didn't move AT All.
