Look at the reviews of WaW; it's only saving grace was the zombie mode. campaign mode sucked, multiplayer sucked. Treyarch is working solely on name recognition (both CoD series and voice actors) at this point. IW spent the time to develop intelligent A.I. rather than just upping the difficulty by swarming you with unlimited enemies that take impossible shots.

yes I am bitter about my purchase and want my money back.

There's a lot of infinity ward fan bois out there so that makes more sense. But you said shitty sales and that's where I had to disagree with you. Trey arch is younger and less experienced, but they work their asses off and are getting damn good.

I'm not saying IW is perfect any means - they're just as guilty of name dropping as well... like when they were considering dropping the CoD title for MW2 but flip flopped at the last minute. But I definitely think Black Cops is a step backward - amazing things are being done by the Crytek team and DICE has very realistic feel with BC2 and Medal of Honor.

So far IMO Black Ops has been average (can't comment on the campaign as I only play online multiplayer), but I have liked the amount of stats and data it collects on ALL aspects of your gameplay. You even have the abilty to store and share videos of any of your games, this is the only thing that this game has over the last 2 or 3 CODs...

I don't think they will be stopping anytime soon. It will be interesting to see where they go from here though...

The campaign of this game (which I beat the day after it came out) was really, really weird, but good. It kept my attention better than any of the earlier games.

The multiplayer is the same generic CoD experience for the most part. RC-XDs are fucking annoying.
