What are these radiator fittings for?

Today was replace the radiator day since the upper outlet broke clean off last night (original radiator). The one I picked up had 2 sets of extra cooler fittings. I know the 'nipples' are for the NA trans. cooler hoses, but what are the threaded ones for??

The big round ones.

Coolant temp sensors for fan control on 1st gen cars. Not needed for 2nd gen cars, just plug them.

There are sensors that go in there i believe, ill go get a pic of mine.

1G's have a coolant temp sensor there and... I forget what the other doohickey is that they have there, maybe a fan temp sensor...

Where you get the rad from, if its easy to return, i'll give you my old one if you want it with the sensors still in it and a good fan.

Got it from Advance, it came with plugs installed (plastic), I took them out for the pic. Just wondered what went in there. Thanks for the offer though.

Guess I have a couple extra holes to drain coolant from whenever I need to.
