Not much of anything moved forward. Some good characterizations, but I agree with you, it all good of been condensed to about half the time.

The last 2 episodes have sucked. There weren't even a lot of walkers around the perimeter. Maybe 200-300? I would just sharpen a long stick and start stabbing them through the gate or from the top of the wall. Get a few people doing that and it wouldn't take long at all. Also a few weeks ago when they were clearing out the "noisy" building there was a bunch of farm machinery outside. They should have got a harvester running and just driven right through the line of zombies.

side note: I think that kid talking to Rick about wanting to shoot a gun was probably the distraction for Carl to get out. Maybe not though.

I hope they don't drag Glenn's fate out too long.

I've got an even better idea. Modify a wood chipper to have a wide open front, leave it running, the noise attracts the walkers, and one by one in they go.

Not a bad idea. Set it up to run on electricity, and have a sensor turn it off and on. you can get most of the electronics from a car and/or radio shack. If they had a hybrid car, you can find a powerful electric motor to run it. Given that they are in DC, it shouldn't be too hard to find.

So no talk about last week's episode?

I thought the acting and script of the people Daryl ran into didn't match their actions at the end of the episode. Regardless though, it will sure change Daryl from being a nice/trusting person, to a person that doesn't give anyone the benefit of the doubt. Also, when/how will he get his crossbow and motorcycle back? He will clearly get his stuff back. I assume this second group will eventually run into Rick's group. Perhaps a big fight before Mid Season finale, or some sort of massive cliff hanger of a looming problem going into it. Also, Glenn calling for help at the end? Rick heard the same plea for help, right?
