Figure the Valentine or Redline is the best I can do, unless I could fine one of the Scorpion Jammers. Had the Phantom RCD in the past and it worked very well on X and K. To bad they aren't publicly for sale anymore.

The reviews I've seen/read, show the redline killing everything out there.

I've gone through the same dilemma, and I decided (probably stupidly I admit so don't lecture me) that its more of a rush to speed without a safety net. But they talk about these all the time on 6speed:

edit: sorry, just realized its an old thread but still some more info, and if u search the site there are tons of threads about radar detectors.

I like the V1 myself but the Redline currently has the performance edge.

I used to put near if not more than 1000 miles a week on a company car.
I certainly don't miss that '07 Altima 3.5L, but .. when I hit the ignition button, the radar would let me know I was in safe company.
Don't really care for the 'rush' on the highway, I'll plug it it when I am doing anything more than around town.

Ordered the Redline, so we will see how it performs. About to make a drive from Washington to Florida, so I'm sure I'll see how it works out on long stretches of interstate.
