    Group Buy: Evoscan Datalogger Cables

Do you want to log your 3S using Evoscan? Don't have time or patience to make your own logging cable? Do you have a hybrid (94/95) ECU and you're not sure what cable to get? Do you want to support 3SGTO?

Now you can buy a professional sturdy cable that will let you log your 1994 - 1999 3SGTO. Introducing the Evoscan Converter Module for datalogging:

Nearly identical in functionality to the Openport 1.3D cable, the Evoscan Converter Module:
    1. Supports Evoscan for logging
    2. Is based on FTDI chipset
    3. Provides USB Connectivity
    4. Supports 5 Baud Signaling for Initialization
    5. Supports high speed logging > 50 samples / sec
    6. Operates under Windows 7, Vista and XP , x86 and x64
    7. Integrated Windows Installer for x86 and x64 loads the USB drivers and provides an uninstallation icon on the Start Menu
    8. Reflash NOT supported
    9. Implements pin 1 signaling (no crossover cable required)

What you get in the box:
    1. The Evoscan Converter Module
    2. A 3 foot OBDII cable that connects the diagnostic port to the module
    3. A 3 foot USB A/B cable
    4. Instructions to download the installer package

Best of all, these cables are competitively priced at $55 each. For every cable I sell I am going to donate $2 to benefit 3SGTO. However, I need your support to get this product launched. I need to get 10 people to commit to this group buy.

You can read more about this product and purchase at http://jns.jimnshar.com/id47.htm

Rez, Yes the $55 is the pricing. I'm taking orders but if I can't get 10 within a reasonable time frame I will refund everyone in full. Yes, Evoscan can log all years but first gens need a different cable then the one I provide (the connector is different).

EDIT: I'll pay 60 if you ship it out tomorrow :P

I haven't committed to buying material to build these yet. If you have a CEL then all you need to do is hook up a jumper between pins 1 and 4 at the OBDII connector. Then you count fast and slow flashes of the CEL light and look up your code in the manual.

I'll start a list here to see if we can get to ten. Tell your friends. Better pricing than Evoscan and works for 94-99 with no modifications needed.

If I make these how long are you willing to wait? I need like 3-4 weeks before I can ship out.

has anyone used/tested these out? I am looking for a datalogging solution, and was wondering if this was a good route to go.
Moving on to reality. Sold my 3KGT, and now I am selling off my parts.
