Wiring in an OBD I plug?

Riddle me this- I can just match up the wire colors if I'm wiring in an OBD I plug to my 94 hybrid harness, right?

I dont think so. I beleive the hybrid harness has more wires going to the scan port than the OBD1

No. 1g only has 12 wires if memory serves, whereas hybrids have 16. I could run out and check on my car but am too lazy. The hybrid plug in is the same shape as a obd2 though.

For future reference, yeah, it is just matching up the wire colors, except for 4, where there are two pair of same colored wires. Yellow and black, and yellow and red.

Are you doing this so you can log with a 94 ECU ? Because thats what I am trying to do now. 94 ECU in a 91 car 91 harness.
