Not I. John Monnin (wrenchmonkey.com). He was thoroughly lit. Alan took that pic, and I was sitting next to him, doing my best impression of a lobster. I was burnt to a crisp that NG. NG 05 my car broke the morning of, so I took Turbo Bob's Stealth to show off the Maf-T Pro. NG06 was when I finally decided to race my car and took home the trophy, and NG07 I was just kinda there, really.

bad pic, but my car: Alan can't take clear photos of my ride
from NG06: The fat one in the middle. And yes, I look way better today than I did then. Eating better + working out + shaved the head and grew a goatee = I think I don't look so damned nerdy now.

    EDIT:

i was at NG10' this past year, but because it was my first NG i laid kinda low... plus my vr4 wasnt ready to be there at the time, so i didnt draw any attention through that.

my memorable experiences comes in the form of workin on cars the whole weekend lol. jeff got lucky and didnt skip any teeth when his pulley bolt came loose. resetting the timing/tearing apart his engine all night was fun. got it going at 6am. then the next morning my moms sebring that i drove up there had the fuel pump go out. so during the banquet i was dropping the gas tank and replacing the fuel pump. got done just in time to get in there and win some prizes though

all in all i had a lot of fun. i am hoping to become more well known at the next NG. and i plan on having my VR4 with me and putting down some good 1/4 times!

My only NG was 05. Weekend went great until I had to take off Saturday night to head back to Detroit.

Tcase locked up on I-94 in the rain south of Jackson. Waited until 4am for my girlfriend to get there, left the car at the gas station, convinced my buddy to help me get a trailer and the car on a Sunday at 8am, got home at 6pm and collapsed.

I'd like to make it to another NG, or at least a TXG, just been too busy.

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.” -- Author Unknown

    So just do it!

As much as I would like to bring the car if I come alone again this year I will probably drive the truck because I don't want to break down on the road.
