    Dyno results of my DR750's!

For those who didn't knew on Oct 23th I finnaly went to Pampena motorsports to get a Dynosheet for my DR750's car. It was a short, but great time!

    Set-up :

    DR750's
    Boost cooler stage 2
    ETS FMIC
    Denso 660cc
    Denso Fuel pump
    BAP
    DR-ARC2
RPS Max Street 6 puck disk
    RPS Max Street Flwywheel
    CFDS
    Custom quad tips exhaust
    HKS Twin power
    3SX cam gears
Stock OEM 2 bolts Shortblock (forged crank)

I have two nozzles to inject water/meth, a 625ml and a 375ml and I use a mix of 33% water & 67% meth on 94 Canadian pump gas. With the cold temp I can run 30psi in the street to the redline with only one count of knock. So 28-29 to be on the safe side.

Ray dynoed my car with my street trims, unfortunatly my MBC was failing on his dyno (I don't know why, cause it hold on the street), so the boost was raising to 30psi but was falling down to 25-26 at the end, it explain why I make more TQ then WHP.

Here is a few pass :

On the 609 WHP pass I had a missfire, it explain the glitch that took down the TQ.
On the 657 WTQ Ray letted go cause he thought it was too much power down low for stock rods.

What impress me most is the 650WTQ at around 4350rpm (or 500WTQ at 3400rpm). The DR750's spool so fast it's incredible.

Here is a video of a run :

    So 609WHP/633WTQ or 600WHP/651WTQ on pump gas + water/meth!

I think those are the biggest numbers out of a 6G72's TD04 on pump (+ water/meth) and I think it has the more TQ down low ever seen for a 6G72 (?).

With the actual temperature we have here (around 35-40F) I can spin 4 Direzza Z1 in 4th gear, so I have to lower the boost to 22-23 psi, even then it's on the edge to spin on third gear, I have to warm up the tires if I want to make a pull.

Here is a video to get an idea of the spool-up :

That's awesome! Definitely the best numbers on non-race gas. You gonna take her to the track when it warms back up?

Yeah, but I don't intend to beat the car to make a good time. I will mostly go for the MPH. I do not want to launch the car, I will shift fast, but not like I stole it. I allready gave too much with my DSM in drivetrain parts.

I've let my spare tranny to Ray for him to rebuilt it with a Quaife and SCE center diff to help traction. I'll buy some PU suspension buschings this winter to reduce wheel hop. I was looking to buy the same that I have now in larger format (9.5'') to run larger tires but they only have +22 and +38mm offset, not good with my KWv3, so I don't know if I'll go larger, but I would like if I can find a solution.

Wow, impressive! This has got to be one of the best street setups out there. Great spool and loads of Tq, must be VERY fun to drive!

It is quite an experience I can tell you! It's now 6 months I have the DR750's and each time I get in the car it's WOW everytime, you don't get bored of it. The power is so close to the foot, available so fast that I don't feel the need to run a V8+ car. It got a large powerband from the left to the right.

The car is very sleeper too, no gauges or aftermarket instrument visible, Quad tips and relatively quiet exhaust as you can hear in the 2 videos. Only the wheels and brake are visible mods.

I daily drive this car all year, I don't have another car and I enjoy it very much!

    Very much!

I saw a good bit of smoke come out of the drivers side pipe. What's up with that?
