    door wire's broken

So my car's harness that connects to the door is getting progressively worse. meaning that my speaker doesn't work, nor does the locks on occasion. The clip that keeps it on is partially broke, but there are some bad wires as well.

Is there a simple way to replace it(I have one on my parts car) but it appears to be a crazy mess that looks impossible to change.

    Any tips?

i have the same problem on my 91, only it affects my alarm so i have to unlock the car on the passenger side. I have previously repaired it with another problem too!! the bad thing is, if you wanted a new wire its part of the entire interior main harness, so you'd have to replace the whole main harness ... its like over a grand brand new. I am in for what people have to say because otherwise i will just fix it wire by wire.

Yeah, I was afraid it was the whole harness. I guess I'll see if I can just take the connector apart and fix any of the broken wires. I do have a spare harness but probably much more work to change...

yeah i removed the pin from the harness of the wire i needed to repair .. tracked it back up to where it was cut then cut it, spliced a new wire back down, reattached the pin and then reinserted it into the plug. it sucks real bad
