I am curious to know what size box they need. I was looking at Eclipse subs but they look heavy and I was under the impression they need larger boxes.

The 10"s I ordered need 1.25 cubic feet sealed minimun IIRC. They are pretty big for 10's so that's where some of the size for the box comes from.
most subs tell you what size is required when you buy them. 1.25 is a big box for a 10''.most 10s' are .95 and 12s' are 1cft. you can also add fibrefill to a smaller enclosure and it tricks the sub into thinking its in a bigger box (stupid subs hahah)
Found the pics with the strut bar.

Well since I sold the eclipse amp I had to redo my sub box. Not done yet, I was just doing a test fit before I finished screwing it all up and a few touches.
Also since I already had the stuff there and had some more time...
I made a brand new box :-D its a single 10" all mdf not particle board like the others, 3/4 inch face 1/2 inch the rest not 1/2 particle everything, and sealed, glued, and screwed not held by staples like the others. I ended up with 3 boxes, 1 carpeted and 2 not carpeted. It was a PITA to do a full carpet job on this box, not doing it again. Next time I'll just fold it behind the edges and staple it.
End result

Are you selling the spare boxes? If so, how much for 1?
