For shallow sub I would recomend the SI BM, RE SL, or JL TW5.
How about the Polk MM series. Granted 4 1/2" depth is not as slim as other shallow subs out there but with a carbon composite basket, helps make them one of the lightest subs out there.

Too bad they didn't utilize a neo. magnet.
