How about the Polk MM series. Granted 4 1/2" depth is not as slim as other shallow subs out there but with a carbon composite basket, helps make them one of the lightest subs out there.

Too bad they didn't utilize a neo. magnet.

I have their MM components which I like, they do use Neo magnets. Im still deciding which sub to get from them.

Really? As I looked up their mounting depth, it looked like a typical magnet to me.

That is their MM components. Nothing is mentioned on the sub woofer page. And this magnet doesn't look like a Neodymium magnet.

the best idea is to buy or make one that sits behind the seat so you have atleast some room to put your rubbish!

i actually have a custom box i made for an escort like 12 years ago that fits right behind the seat, lol
fills in the space perfectly, have to lock the rear seat with force tho
