If you don't care if it is specifically made for your car then just start looking on Ebay or Craigslist. I found a nice box on craigslist for $25. Great shape, nicely built.

I've got one kicker L7 12" in a ported box. I have the back seat folded down behind the drivers seat and it sits there facing rearward. It's impossible to drive a stick with someone sitting behind you anyway so i just said screw it.

Replaced the door speakers with some polk/momo 6.5" and the rears with some Alpine 6x9's when the stock ones started going. Sounds good enough for me and it wasn't stupid expensive either. I'm also not much of an audiophile though when it comes to telling small differences from one speaker to the next.

I'm personally using the Ebay box that fills the rear hatch area and couldn't be happier with it. I'm running two Kicker CVR DVC 12's and haven't really tuned them out yet and still hit 141dB with that box. Not too shabby...and I could care less about trunk space...my Stealth isn't my DD. Now yours is a DD, I wouldn't suggest the box because its simply not practical; but if you're going for a good look and good sound, then it is a very viable solution.

I agree, to keep "some" trunk space is always a nice option to have. I went with the single/sealed sub set up - 1 12", actually kept my entire spare tire area intact (the spare isnt in there) and used the side pockets for extra storage. If i were to lift the floor panel you would see just the well for the spare tire.

I have one. If you get one, make sure to put some kind of padding on the bottom; the box likes to "thunk" when the car bounces a bit, especially if you have a stiffer suspension (even sport mode on the stock ECS). I've been too lazy to pull and pad mine, cause I mounted the amps to the rear of the box and I'd have to unhook all the wiring.

It's worth the money if you dont need the space. I'd like to go to a behind-the-seat setup, but I'm not sure how dual 12s would work with that. I regret not sticking with my SmokinVR4 10" corner box.

why don't u just mount it so it doesn't move around? It not only won't move around and make noise but its safer, think if u were in an accident your sub box becomes a projectile rather easy.

If u get in an accident, that sub box isn't really going anywhere...mine sits pretty damn snugly...maybe each is made slightly differently?

It sits very, very snugly on all the horizontal directions without needing to be attached. It also sits on top of the plastic trays, so there's not really much to attach it to. The box doesn't visibly "jump", it's just an annoying sound to hear it tap against the plastic going over bumps; like a squeaky seat bolt or squeaky door panel. I'm OCD about that kind of thing.

ah i see, just use to work for a shop and mounting was very important on anything custom for sure. but I say its your stuff do what ever you want to
