those are 8's. Im running dual Focal 21wx Be's. I've hit 140db with em, just need to refine the box and i should be set. all the amps are hidden in between the box and the back seats.

well that's pretty cool. yeah I think I had mine bolted to the backs of the back seats. Didn't think I could do it any other way I guess. For me I guess 8's are too small and I have to go beefy with the 12's lol. I had a great box that I left in Cali...now I have some piece of crap in my Mustang that doesn't seem to allow me to hit as hard.

Those are Db Drive subs and amps, I built it myself here are some build pics

If you want to put a number to it the last show i was in it hit 139.2 but I don't have much power going to them and the car is setup for SQ not DB, Wish I had a set of Focal Utopia's

I am more curious about the 4 devices right behind the rear seats. Are those Aura bass shakers?

When I bought my car it had that exact box, with 2 10's and it sounded annoying, drilled out the holes for 12's and the sound was so bad I wanted to cry.

I dont drive many people around except for my girlfriend, so I took out the rear seats and put a nice ported box there. I value the minimal trunk space available vs. rear seats, but thats just me.

This is what my setup looks like:

is that stable enough to stay where it is under its own weight?

just curious - did you test it out having it fire backwards at all?

Yes, I cut a piece of 3/4 inch plywood for the base then secured it with little feet things (to support the open space that you would normally sit in) then covered it with carpet and just put the box ontop of it.

The box has never moved around or anything and I have been driving with it installed for around 5 months now.

And I would have, but I'm a tall guy and I sit with my seat all the way back so it wouldnt work. Although I do know that the box will fit if it is sat down, it just didn't allow me to sit the way I am most comfortable.

I purchased this unit from an Ebay seller several years ago. I LOVE it. fits great and sounds even better. Easily removed if needed and really doesn't take up much of the hatch space. I have already modeled it in solid works and have thought about making a few of them. I am not yet a verified seller, so I will not post up a price or take orderes, but if you would be interested in one let me know. That way I can atleast see if there is enough interest in making a batch.

    Here it is installed

I used a similar box for a few years and loved it! Went with a different setup in the red car when I did the rear seat delete. I think this box and the corner box are the most practical, in order to be able to use the hatch area for storage, and keep the spare tire.
Hey, when you turn your car on, does it return the favor?
