Lancer ES

Found a 2003 for 6k at a dealer trying to convince my girlfriend to get it. She wants a small four door, first thing that came to mind was a lancer or galant. Anyone here have any opinion on the ES?

It's not really fast, and it has the normal plastic Mitsu interior, but it has nice driving dynamics, and decent room.

If i were in the market for a small 4 door id probably look at a 2.5rs, but thats just me. id say the lancer would be ok for a girl's car. Its attractive enough and youll probably know how to wrench on it. I dont think ive ever seen one that wasnt falling apart, but thats probably due to crappy owners.

If she wants it go for it, i think thats right around blue book for it.

My brother had an 03 Lancer OZ Rally edition. It was nothing special and was far from fast, but it got the job done.
