It just stopped after the rebuild. I'm pretty sure the sensor is all the way in the back by the pump but is there a fuse I could have blown or a something I could have messed up getting the engine in and out?

Anyone? Soon enough I'm gonna run out of gas, or more likely overfill lol.
All the other guages are working?

yup thats the clincher lol. could not having the coolant gauge hooked up while running make the fuel pump stop working? is there even a fuse for the gauge?
happeded to me once. replaced the floater mechinism on the fp assembly, fixed the prob immediately.
ya could just be coincidence, that guage is not on its own circuit so it shouldnt have just stopped, and all the wiring for it is in the interior from the firewall to the trank area.

Does your low fuel light still work? My gauge doesn't work, but the light does. I figure it's the sender unit. Hasn't annoyed me enough yet to replace it. I just get gas when the light comes on and reset my trip counter at each fill-up. I'll probably do something the next time I need to replace a pump.
my fuel gauge used to stop working. The needle was physically getting stuck. I removed the cluster and moved the needle to the start point and plugged it all back in and all good since then.

maybe. I completely ran the car out of gas so I guess its possible it got stuck at the very bottom. But it seems like its just not getting any power it doesn't even twitch. I'll give a good flick to it :P
Same is happening to me I have a lot still unplugged in the bay. My gauge is at E but the light isn't coming on.
