I like to believe people can change. I hope that's the case here.
Wait, so because he helped you out he's changing? Please.... That's nothing short of naive. When that little boy mans up and apologises for how he's behaved over the last few years (more importantly the last year or so) then maybe we can look to some sort of forgiveness. Some of us were burnt years ago, many were burnt more recently. Nobodies perfect I know, but until he admits there's a problem and stops his lying and "I'm goin to get me some lawyers", then he's still that untrustworthy unprofessional former friend that lied to us.

Did I say everything is fine? Because if I did, I don't remember it. In fact, if you've read ANY of my previous posts on the subject, you'd see that I have been one of his most consistant critics. Doing business as he has in the past is unacceptable, period. I make no excuses for his behavior.

That being said, He did help me, and he helped me with a matter he didn't have to help me with. Sure I had a set of sideskirts that were crap, and he made and sold them. But the fact is, I didn't buy them from Cianci, nor did I buy them from an authorized Cianci reseller. But in this ONE INSTANCE, he did step up and fix the issue, and in a timely fashion. I doubt he was under any legal obligation to do so.

I too would like to see him step up and take responsibility for what's happened in the past, and stop all the "I'll get my lawyer on you" bullshit. But failing that, if he'd simply handle business in an honest and professional manner henceforth (I will be the first to admit that my case doesn't prove he will) it's a step toward redeeming his rep.

Shaun turned his shit around, and he had a lot of issues with members of the 3s community, but has tried to correct it as he is able. I respect that, regardless of his past. Ryan should have the same opportunity if he chooses to turn his act around.

Many on the other site saw my posts about my issue with his product, but the bottom line is, I told him that should he correct MY problem, I would say so publicly, and post what I thought of the replacements. He has done so. It is my hope he continues to do so with all who have a gripe with him. This in no way changes anything I've said about him in the past.

So don't piss down my back. It's ALL on Ryan to fix it. I simply pointed out that he did me right, when legally, I doubt it was necessary.

I am limited to what I can say... but Glenn, Ryan only replaced the side skirts because his company was hanging off the ledge of a building. Given the circumstances, he had to save face. If you would have complained while Cianci was "doing well", he probably would have told you to shove it. Why do I believe this, because I have seen him do it before.

Ryan won't change, that is clear. I don't know who Josh is to base an opinion on his "business skills". I know I sent him a PM on the other site and he never responded, how that for customer service?

However, I'm glad to see their products still available through SSM and 3SX. Their products have been better quality than most... but the person running the business hasn't got a clue. Would I purchase anything from Cianci...NO, but would I purchase a Cianci product from SSM or 3sx, probably.

Do I think Ryan will change? Not really. And Josh is pretty much an unknown factor at this point. But if asked the same about Shaun when he was having his issues, my answer would have been the same.
Will I encourage others to buy from Cianci? Again, no. Not because of quality because Cianci has that, but because of business ethics. My post was in no way intended to advise potential costomers to toss caution to the wind.
Would I buy from Cianci? Unlikely, at best. But, as you said, I would possibly purchase his products thru SSM or 3sx, should I feel the need. In fact, I just posted on SSM's thread that I'd like one of the CF spark plug covers if he HAS THEM IN HIS HANDS.

All I'm saying is he should, if he finds it in himself, have the opportunity to fix his act going forward. As should we all.

As you know, I told Ryan that if he did me right, I'd post it. I've done so, and once installed (should be within the week) I'll be posting pics of fitment on the other site. I feel that to do otherwise would make me a liar.

Ryan has unique, quality products. I'd hate to see them go away, but if they do, then as I've said, it's all on Ryan.
