Exactly, This is what this thread really is about, Drama. I don't have time 24/7 To power post away at every response he makes. That's why I'm doing it the proper way and going through the legal channels. If he feels he is right, then it shouldn't be a problem to address me in a court of law. All he is doing on here is mud slinging and trying to slander our name as a tactic to get back at us untill we pay him is false claim of money owed.
If you are a customer of ours and you want to discuss a part or a past issue, just contact us directly.
But you brought this into the public eye not him. It makes your claim that he is doing this to “get at us until we pay him his false claim of money owed” a little hard to believe. He posted here in response to your thread on 3si. I have a feeling we would had never known about all this if you didn’t post that thread.
You went and slandered his name on the other forum, and on top of that, you started this. You brought it upon yourself, you could have kept it private, but you made it public and then you didn't even back up your statements.
If you were more of a professional you would have handled this the right way and not of had any problems with anyone you deal with, but the way it is now it seems like it wasn't handled the right way in the beginning or currently.
*Additionally, the drama isn't what is making this thread fun to read, its the stupidity and ignorance of you and the way you are handling this that makes it interesting to read. This should be stickied and renamed to "This is how you shouldn't run a business"

Shaun, I have a question.
Why have you not just filed in small claims court to recoup the money you claim that Ryan owes you? Not sure what the cost is in Oregon. Maybe $10 to file?
Honestly, that is what people in our society do if someone is owed money and can't get paid. A car forum public opinion won't get you anything (other than perhaps some temporary satisfaction?). Trying to harm Ryan's future business won't get your money (but might get you fine/jail time if damages proven). Only the law can get you your money. So if it is like you say it should be easy to pay the $10, file the claim, tell the judge your side, Ryan tells his, the law decides. Done. THAT is what will end it. If the $10 is a problem I will gladly paypal it to you. A gift.
You cannot display a persons copyrighted images, or use their company name without permission on a website. I am surprised the hosting company hasn't been ordered to take the site down. You can't win anything doing things like that. It is not legal. Two rights don't make a wrong. Once you get into court it will hurt your cause. I guarantee it. You cannot legally do that stuff because he owes you money. No more than a mechanic can keep your car or a landlord not give you your furniture (or any other myriad of examples). It doesn't work that way.
I'm not trying to say you are right or wrong on the overall issue that you are owed money or anything else. But holding hostage other people's property (including intellectual, photos, company name, etc) is 100% illegal. Do yourself a favor and take the step to remove that stuff. The court will make you do it, of that there is not doubt. Do it voluntarily before ordered to and maybe you'll avoid some other court problems. Maybe Ryan will also then take a step forward too towards resolution and paying you.

In order for the warning on my website to be considered liable (did you mean libel?), they need to be false.
As the 5-6 recent complaint threads that HAVE managed to go public in the various buyer/seller areas, and the many, MANY more I am aware of that likely aren't forum members, PLUS the issues you have with me and the community, the message in my warning is true.
I'm no lawyer, but this is common sense. Everyone else see's it, why don't you?
And it is CLEAR that this is the big issue you have. There was never any 'firing', or 'shaun defrauding customers', or the other half dozen lies you posted earlier (which you STILL haven't addressed in the last 2+ weeks). This is about Google rankings, and how you're pissed I'm giving your non-forum customers the knowledge they need to defend themselves. Ryan, like I said, if you want to know the definition of libel, you should go back and look at your first post.

Let me ask you a question: after I quit the company and before you tried to attack me on the forums, have you ever tried to contact me privately about your 'demands' and/or my paycheck?
The answer is NO. You haven't. Absolutely NO effort to contact me, despite my multitude of emails trying to handle things with you privately.
I believe that would have been a whole lot less time consuming - you know, to do what most regular, morally well-adjusted people do when they have an issue with them: talk to them one-on-one about fixing it.
Like I said, if you are that confident accept everything that comes your way and lets settle this in a court of law and let a set of people who are presented with all the facts decide. You are not an attorney or a Judge all you are posting is speculation and defamatory statements towards us.
Ryan: this is where you and I differ. I don't feel I need to depend on the courts and lawyers to win my battles for me.
However, I *do* have a solid case. And maybe I will take this to small claims to fight this myself (without a lawyer), because it is so obvious that you screwed up here. The money was never as important to me as YOU just doing the right thing.
In the meantime, you can deal with your actions. Go face the customers that are waiting for you in the other threads that you STILL haven't taken care of.
lol.. haven't faced? Anyone who contacts us has gotten a refund or has been taken care of. And if the wait time is critical people can opt to get refunded at any time. We aren't forcing anyone to wait for there product if its a rush shipment.
