    Powder Coating!

Seems like every year around February/March I get hit with a ton of powdercoating so I figured I'd throw this up to get an early start. If you need something done let me know, it's already picking up a bit but right now there isn't too long of a turn around time.

All the info you need is here: http://www.maximalperformance.com/powdercoating/

Anymore questions just post, e-mail, or PM me.

Do you have any examples/pics of the colors so we can see what they look like?

Interested in getting some things coated while the car is down for the winter but want to be able to visually see the colors before I make my choice.

    Check it out on Youtube!!

There are a few pics in the gallery section of the site. Are there any specific colors you're looking for? I can dig through pics and come up with most colors I've done in the past at least.

Haha, that works then. If anyone else wants some colors that aren't in the gallery just let me know and I can post them up.

    hey terry,

do you have any coatings which allow the surface underneath to shine through? specifically something in black? i'm interested in having my valve covers & plenum coated (they're currently polished) and i'm looking for something which will accentuate that.

Sorta like a translucent color? I'm not sure about that but I can look around.

I can do them for $75 shipped if you disassemble them before sending.

I was toying with the idea of getting my plenum and valve covers powdercoated white, any engine bay pics of this? I know one dude did this same setup over at 3si, can't find the pics now.

My car is pearl white so I'd want it to be as close to that as possible. Not a pearl paint (mitsu didn't use the pearl coat in the engine bay), but a similar white color.

Also, how long will this powdercoat last? Hopefully like over three years?

    Decisions decisions.

I think I've done a white plenum before but don't have any pics. Pezcore has a white valve cover and that looks pretty good, I'm sure you can find pics with searching a bit.

The powdercoating will just be a bright white which I imagine will be close to the engine bay color. As for durability it should last a lot longer than 3 years...
