    Fail track day. No traction.

Hit the track today expecting to see some nice 60fts with the slicks. It was way too cold and way too shitty prep. It was the last day they were open and there was like 20 cars there, I dont think they cared. Best time was a 11.45 @123 with a 1.93 60ft. Only got vids of my last 2 runs which were both 11.5's with 1.9xx 60's. I was hoping to see some deep 11's or 10's but the track was not holding anything for anyone. Was running 19psi on the 5857's. Best trap was 126.

This is all on straight 93 pump no meth. I could have turned the boost up more as it was very quiet but my laptop died, it wouldn't have helped me anyways. Quite disappointing end to the year. Oh well. Time to weld up the vcu and try out some race gas.

Heres 1 vid ill upload the other later.

    Edit:

Forgot...I pulled on the scale. Here is the race weight. Shes a fat one.

Bummer, Can't wait to see what that beast will do on race gas. Have you thought about running e85?

Oh and I want to see some pics of that engine bay. Some build pics would be cool also. I didn't even know you had the car running till the other day.

Hey man, anytime you make it home without breaking anything is a non-fail track day.

Sounds great and is moving well for 19 psi.

Well I wanted it to be a bit faster trap speeds but I guess thats what 3500lbs gets me.

126 in these cars is like 550awhp, not shabby at all on pump. With a 1.6 60 ft, your knocking on the 10s!

I'm gonna put my interior soon and do a write-up. With interior and cage in it, it should be under 2800.

I'll send you a pm wwitht some ideas of what to remove or modify.

its all in the 60! if you would have gotten a 1.5-6 you would have gone 10s and had a higher mph! not bad for 19psi and that tiny ic core u got. lets go to E town!
