Ray im down for e-town if I get my vcu welded. Can I pull the vcu without the trans? I know you can do the OS shaft but not sure if you can remove the vcu.

Adam started busting axles after he welded the VCU and i have read him say it was a very regrettable mod. Something to think about...

it pulls out with the output shaft with the trans in. is it spinning all 4?

Some people told me it was not spinning all 4...sometimes it was spinning 1 side...but it didn't seem to pull to either side when launching. It felt like the front were spinning like the vcu is blown but im not 100% on that.

Yea stock front, but it will do that when the vcu is blown. IIRC Ray is still running the stock front diff. The front diffs blow because the are spinning like crazy and the roll pins back out according to Ray. I know my vcu is blown but I thought I might get away with it for a bit. Oh well.

So what's the spool like on the turbos? I've been wanting to know how they'll do on the stroker. I was hoping for full boost by 4500 rpms. I have a few things left to do and mine will be running. I'm hoping next week I'll get it fired up since I didn't get much down this week due to a wedding.

I have a small exhaust leak in the rear since my 3sx headers just keep cracking but they start to really go at 4800-5000. I havent nailed down any real numbers yet from the logs. Ill take a look next time.
