Beefing up my ATX

Currently looking at this for the cooler:

Now, does the current automatic system send coolant through the transmission or does it cool the oil? I wanna design a secondary cooling system for my ATX to be coupled with a performance end clutch and shift kit. Hopefully this will keep my transmission from shitting out on me after my single turbo conversion.

The tranmission oil runs through the cooler on the radiator. Use of an aftermarket cooler just takes the mounting of it and running the lines to the new cooler instead of the factory one.

So the transmission has its own oil pump then? I want to able be able to use a radiator for a manual (they are cheaper and more available.)

The pump is turned by the crank.
